Version 2.0 of the COMWeb application is a complete rewrite of the existing codebase in Microsoft's latest ASP.NET 3.5 framework. Just launched in November 2007, this framework has some cutting edge functionality that we at COMWeb will be taking full advantage of. The COMWeb application will get a major visual and functional upgrade using new AJAX technology that reduces postbacks and makes web applications act more like local Windows applications. We should have a working demo of the new core within a month. We'll let you know so you can get a chance to play arround and see the new features.
